Bloody Mary: Final Design Protagonist

After much thought, this is the final look I have settled on for Bloody Mary for the reasons I stated in explanation of its design. I think it will be most effective and matched my interpretation of the story better.

Having decided on the make up design, it made it easier to decide on the hairstyle, this is the one I have chosen as my final as I feel it will test my skills and is not something I have attempted before, as well as matching the character best, also corresponding well with the design of the victim's character.

I also created a style board to help me with styling for the character of Bloody Mary during my shoot. On it once again I have included the face chart and hair design to use as a reference point, and once again I am using the same model, the reason being that Bloody Mary is using the reflection as a source to haunt the victim, therefore taking on their appearance but twisting it to a more ghostly and disturbing form. For this look I have decided to use a black back drop to add a darker and more evil atmosphere to the character, also allowing the white corset, skin and light hair to stand out and contrast against it. I included one of the hairstyles on the board also as a loose point of reference with my own sketch, both being very similar however, so it seemed like it might be helpful, as did the image below it, as during the shoot I would like to have my model bite on a blood capsule to experiment with this idea. The final image, like with my previous board, is just a basic idea of posing and facial expression.
